"Only conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or remain absent, I will hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel." Philippians 1:27

Jesus loves the little children of the world
We can't drive anywhere without people running up to our van, trying to sell us stuff, wanting water, attempting to get in through the doors and bringing their babies up to the windows. The last one is the hardest because those little ones are so precious and their mothers are begging for food and pointing at the baby they have on their hip. It really tears your heart up. To be completely surrounded by people so desperate and so hungry (both physically and spiritually) is simply gut wrenching. All we could do was pray for them. Please continue to join us in prayer for God's children in Africa. They are precious in His sight.

Wow. You are exactly where God wants you to be right now. I am praying for you ladies. God will bring you opportunities. 2 Thessalonians 3:13-"But as for you ,brethren, do not grow weary in doing good." I pray you won't be exhausted, but that you would shine God's light so brightly that people will be drawn to God's love through you. Keep your head up, focussed on the Lord and keep a watch out for that devil. 1 Peter 5:8 says, "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." So be on the lookout. He's going to try and throw you off guard. God will give you strength to resist him and help you persevere when you feel like giving up.
ReplyDeleteAlso, don't stay up too late partying with your roomie, gotta have some energy to keep up with those kiddos! hehe. Miss you all! Keep shining your light in the darkness! :)
